hello everyone! for the last few weeks i've been working non-stop on a set of 25 Sponge Bob birthday invites. here's a quick look at them...
i used basic card stock in different primary colors, this cartridge that my lovely friend, Veronica, lent me, and i tried (i feel unsuccessfully) add sand to the bottom of the card to make it look like Bob was underwater when he got this birthday invite. i need to come up with a better way to layer more sand without it clumping up due to wet glue for the Patrick Thank You cards. any ideas? here's the inside...
i typed everything up in Word, and added a little doodling along the outer edges of both the inside and outside of the invites. here's a picture of the happy birthday boy, Bradley + me...
it's always hard to get this kid to smile right..lol! i'm hoping to get back to my own crafty projects this week, so i can update later this week. thanks for stopping by!

last year's invites...
last year my Godson, Bradley, was in LOVE with Elmo. as you know, this year we're making Sponge Bob invites, but i thought it would be fun to show you all last year's birthday invite + thank you card...
i can't remember the paper we used, but i will say making those invites took about 2.5 hours off my life. Elmo is a tough little guy to put together, but i'm thinking Sponge Bob might be worse!
here was the invites i came up with. i tried to go pretty simple with them, because i didn't want to buy more paper. all in all, both mother + birthday boy + her family were very, very happy with all the cards i made.
check back later next week for more birthday invites!

graduation save-the-date card and invite....
my little brother graduated from Whittier College last year. i wanted to share these invites with you because i was so please with how they came out and am thankful my little brother was able to find a full-time job on the crazy economy....
i used the Cricut to cut out everything on the front of the invite. i printed out all the information from the inside using my hp printer. this is the only picture i have of the save-the-date card...
the party was amazing but seeing how proud my mother was of my brother was priceless!

a set of birthday invites....
my Godson, Bradley, had a birthday recently. i was asked to do a set of invites and thank you cards for his upcoming party. i was delighted to be included in his birthday celebration....his mother wanted to use primary colors and the number one. this is what i came up with.
she always has an idea of what she wants but doesn't know how to put in onto paper...that's where i come in!
this is a thank you that will sent out to all the guest thanking them for coming to the party. i can't remember what paper pack i used..sorry! i used the Celebration Cricut cartridge to cut out all the balloons, gift boxes and thanks. thanks for stopping by!
