day six....

i'm not the biggest Starbucks fan, but i think that's because i love coffee i make at home.  on the other hand, i do love this.  when i went up to the case to order my tea this little guy was calling out my name....or at least that's my story, and i'm sticking to it!

i'm hoping to get caught up over these next two night on my book, and have some new post for everyone.  wish me luck!

day three, four, + five of December Daily...

taking a cue from Amy , i'm going to post day three, four, + five of my december daily book...

Tina + i went to the Griffith Observatory to look at the stars.....and it was amazing! on day four, the boy + i went to The Grove to take in some Christmas cheer! Plus, we got showered with snow + saw Kyle Richards walking around with her family.  we both felt bad for them because there was gangs of people following them from store-to-store. 

day five was all about my boy decking the halls around here....

hoping to post some Christmas cards i've been working on. happy wednesday! what's everyone up to tonight? i'm having dinner with my girls....yay!

day two...

my boy LOVES to make funny faces while we're taking pictures.  it all started about a year ago when i made him take twenty different photos in one day...heehee, i'm a scrap booker at heart + i can't help myself.  here's my second day for my December Daily book....

i just LOVE the faces he makes + now the are a running joke but at first i was a little shocked (to say the least) when i came across one of his "faces" picture in my camera.  i think i should start my holiday shopping next Monday but i'm feeling a little lazy...still.  how's your holiday shopping going?

day one of december daily...

i'm playing along with Ali Edwards December Daily  + i'm loving it!  i decide to take a weeks worth of photos at a time, print them all a once, update my daily book, + then blog about it.  this is day one.....

the story behind is this picture is very exciting to me + i'm happy to share it with all of you.  i've worked at Barnes & Noble for over 2.5 years now + really never got any customer letters sent in about me.  but December 1st all of that changed!  one of our amazing customers wrote in about her experience with me trying to sell her a NOOKcolor .  i don't really remember her but her letter was sent into our company, along with my picture. i'm proud to say, i made it onto our company website for everyone to read about.  Very. Exciting.

Ps....i think doing this book is helping me feel the holiday spirit!

merry december first...

happy december first!  it's the first day of another month and that means a fresh, new, and exciting start.  a chance to start all over again.  a new month to get it all right.  i mentioned yesterday that i decided to make a december daily book after much (or little) convincing from the wonderful Pat Serrano.  i put together my book over the last week and here's the cover without a picutre....

i'm still a little lost on what to add to my book but after a few great tips from Elise Blaha, i think i've got a great start to my first book. here's a couple of pictures of the inside....

 i'm loving the paper from the 14th day!  i did add a few other Teresa Collins sheets from her Noel collection to my book to make it a true Twenty-Five Days of Christmas book.  i'm hoping to start adding photos by the end of this weekend...wish me luck!

Ps: looking forward to my first Christmas living with my boy!
